1/18th scale Brewster F2A Buffalo

Description

Richard Crossley presents another superb Plan Pack, this time for a chunky 1/18th scale Brewster F2A Buffalo. The plans are packed with detail and information, Richard has gone to great efforts to ensure the outlines of the design are true-to-scale, these are probably the most accurate set of construction plans yet available for the Buffalo.

The model has a wingspan of 23.5 inches. It is designed to fly free flight using rubber power, but would convert very nicely to electric free flight using the Zombie speed controller, Voodoo 45 motor and 200mAh LiPo cell. It would also fly well as a park flyer with micro radio control using throttle (a slightly more powerful engine will be needed), rudder (or aileron) and elevator control. No conversion details are shown on the plan but this would be a simple task for the experienced builder.
