Description
The prototype rubber powered model, on which these plans are based won the 2009 UK scale indoor free flight Nationals. The plans are packed with detail and information to the model builder, Richard has gone to great efforts to ensure the outlines of the design are true-to-scale.
The Brewster Bermuda was a large WW2 Dive Bomber, built as a direct competitor to the more famous Curtiss Helldiver. Although it was not successful as a full size aircraft, this small scale replica flies extremely well. The model has a wingspan of just under 24 inches, and flies well on 2 loops or 3mm rubber with an 8 inch prop. It is also ideally suited to the Zombie, Voodoo 25 and 130mAh LiPo electric free flight set-up and would fly well with micro radio control using throttle, rudder and elevator control.
